This is an adaptable recipe (OK, that's redundant) called Shipwreck. It's composed of layers, starting with a layer of ground beef, chicken, or turkey. Next, a layer of sliced peeled potatoes, then layers of several vegetables of your choice. Today's version has snow peas, chunky slices of celery, sliced mushrooms, sliced water chestnuts, baby carrots, and 1 cup of long-grain rice. Pour 1 large can of tomato sauce, plus 1 can of water, over the top. Either stir, or leave in layers. Cook, covered, at 350 degrees F, for 1 hour. Voila! C'est tout!
