After knitting 3 pairs of booties, I believe I've come across a pattern that I like. They're knit in the round, cuff-down. The sole is grafted with Kitchener stitch. The pattern seems to have been updated since I printed it out; here's the newest version. I knit the top in stockinette, rather than with a garter stripe.
