PDFs are Wonderful!

This was me, yesterday, after I successfully linked to PDFs of my knitting patterns. Ah, the feeling of accomplishment! Now, my free patterns can be downloaded in a concise format. Enjoy! :D

Testing

I'm testing how to add a PDF file to my blog, using "Google Docs and Spreadsheets". So far, I accidentally posted it to the Mason Dixon blog, and removed it. Now, the PDF file "says" it was published to "a" blog (I did specify the one I want), but I don't know which one it supposedly posted on! I can't find it. Ack!! I AM learning lots. ;P

New Look

I've tidied the blog, and given it a slightly different look. I've also been learning how to add words to an image, which I've been wanting to learn ever since I saw that it was possible. I have now got the image rotator to work! Hooray! The problem turned out to be my typos, LOL! This rotator only changes the image on entering the blog. I'm still looking for one that rotates every few seconds. It's like a treasure hunt, looking for goodies to add to the blog. Of course, I can waste a lot of time looking (ask me how I know). :DThese baby pants were knit in January, but I still need to knit a top to match.

One of Those Baffling Things

Sometimes adding links seems to completely baffle me. I am flummoxed at this very time, flummoxed I tell you! I have found this great charity link, and cannot seem to add it to my links in the sidebar, so here it is:

Technology, or, How I Waste Hours of Time

Here's the Understatement of the Year: I am not computer literate. But I'm learning, slowwwlllyyy. ;) I've been trying and trying to add clickable links to the sidebar, and I've actually got 3 to work! Woohoo!! I haven't (yet) figured out why I can get some to work, but not others. Is it possible that some sites don't allow one to link to them?

Anyway, this delving into the template and making changes is pretty mind-blowing stuff. I'd love to be able to add buttons as well, and preferably clickable ones. I will figure this out!

Later: I have added the Red Scarf Project button, but wasn't able (yet!) to make it clickable. I'll try some more another time. Must...rest...brain.....
